Biography

Francesca Romaniello is an Associate Attorney at The Salvetti Law Group, PLLC. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. Originally from South Texas and the daughter of an immigrant, Ms. Romaniello developed an early interest in immigration advocacy and cross-border mobility. Prior to law school, she worked in refugee resettlement during Operation Allies Welcome and as a family-based paralegal on affirmative petitions.

She received her Juris Doctor from George Mason University School of Law. During law school, she served as the Senior Notes Editor of the National Security Law Journal and President of the Immigration Law Society. While completing her law degree, Ms. Romaniello clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice in both the Office of Immigration Litigation, Appellate Division, and the Executive Office of Immigration Review. At EOIR, she drafted decisions for immigration judges on a range of issues covering asylum, the Convention Against Torture, cancellation of removal, and adjustment of status. In her final year of law school, she returned to private practice, where she worked on appellate litigation, criminal-immigration matters, and deportation defense cases.

Ms. Romaniello currently focuses her practice on business-based immigration matters, specifically EB-1 and National Interest Waiver (NIW) petitions and J-1 waiver applications, including hardship waivers. She is committed to supporting immigrants as they pursue long-term professional and personal opportunities in the United States. Ms. Romaniello is fluent in Italian and Spanish.
